The Gospel

 

The King

God lovingly created us to know Him, to live in relationship with Him, and to flourish under His good rule (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 24:1).

 

Our Problem

We’ve all turned away from God’s way—what the Bible calls sin (Romans 3:23). Sin separates us from God and brings death (Romans 6:23). Because of His holiness and justice, we can’t earn our way back or do enough good to make ourselves right before Him. But in His great love, God made a way… (Ephesians 2:4–10).

 

The Good News

Jesus Christ, God’s Son, came to Earth to bring us back to God. He lived the perfect life we could not, then willingly died on the cross, taking upon Himself the punishment for our sins. He rose again so that we can have new life with Him now and eternal life with Him forever. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4)

 

Our Response

Life with the King is a free gift of grace—received by turning to God (repentance) and trusting in Jesus alone as Lord and Savior (faith). “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9–10; Ephesians 2:8–9)

How to Begin a New Life with the King

“Jesus, I believe You died and rose again to forgive my sin and give me new life. I turn from my way and trust You as my Lord and King. Make me new and help me follow You. Amen.”
